Introducing Ford’s newest line of compact Sport SUVs. They’ve upgraded the classic adventure vehicle to meet those with an “active lifestyle” where they are: in the wild. As the first Bronco vehicle produced since 1996, Ford went all in to make its newest iteration a blowout. Upgraded features provide top-notch utility that will shake and move customers over any terrain.
Overview
This year’s model is smaller than other Broncos of its kind, making it better equipped for off-road compatibility. It has a host of driver-assist features, four wheel drive, rubber rear cargo, easy-to-clean seats and floors, 400-watt interior converters, LED lights built into the trunk hatch, and at least five G.O.A.T. (Go Over Any Terrain) modes.
Fuel and Economy
Ford has not released fuel economy numbers for the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport yet.
If you’re looking for comfort, utility, and affordable lease prices, the 2021 Ford Bronco should be on your list. Reserve yours today for purchase or read on for lease specs and vehicle details.
Leasing
Each Ford Bronco Sport is specialized for certain modes of adventure. However, only two are available to lease: The Big Bend and Badlands. For this reason, we will be breaking down the specs of both from here on out.
Generally, warranty and maintenance for this vehicle are as follows:
- Limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles
- Powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
- No complimentary scheduled maintenance
The Big Bend
Advertised for alpine snow lovers, this model is available to lease starting at $382/month with $2,966 down, and $3,348 due at signing. Annual miles should amount to around 10,500 to stay within the leasing bounds. These numbers could change depending on where you live, and the terms of the lease.
Interior
Pack your snowboards, boots, skis and poles into this tank of a back seat. Complete with rubber cargo floors, you can throw the portable grill in there too without worrying about scratches or messy clean up later. The Bronco Sport’s safari-style lifted rear roof has room for two mountain bikes or any other gear that might need the extra clearance.
Getting back from a long backcountry ski trip means wet clothes, muddy pants, and tired legs. Cloth seating means even your snow drenched and muddied buddies can climb on in and skip the long walk home.
Another great feature that makes this model excellent for snow adventure is the keyless code entry. This lets you keep your keys in the car while you hit the slopes and every jump without worry.
Exterior and Performance
Approach any outdoor activity with:
- Four-Wheel Disc Brakes with Anti-Lock Brake System for safety on any road
- Electronic traction control to navigate the iciest of roads
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering
- Terrain Control with G.O.A.T. system
- 235/65R17 all season tires and water-fording capability
A 181-hp, turbocharged 1.5L EcoBoost® Engine with Auto Start-Stop Technology is the base engine, but a 245-hp turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder is also available. If you’re new to the Ford line, this engine provides both speed and fuel economy. The 0-60 time is between 7-8.5 seconds making it competitive with other SUVs in its class.
Terrain Control with the G.O.A.T. system will adjust the car for five different land scenarios: sandy, slippery, sporty, ECO or normal. The 2021 Bronco Sport has reached a new level of clearance capacity making it easier than ever to approach steep inclines and rocky roads.
To top it all off the 2021 Bronco Sport models have the capability to haul between 2000 to 2200 pounds of tow capacity.
Badlands
You can lease the 2021 Bronco Sport, Badlands starting at $445/month with $3,416 down payment, $3,861 due at signing, 36 month lease. The owner should run around 10,500 miles a year to stay within the lease agreement. These numbers could change depending on where you live, and the terms of the lease.
Ready to snuggle into your sleeping bag in the back of this rugged off-roader or get ready for a bike-packing trip?
Interior
At the peak of off-road capability, the Badlands is ready for anything you can throw at it with the comfort of a luxury vehicle.
The Badlands is equipped with comfortable yet easy to clean cloth seating and rubberized, removable flooring throughout. Navigation is clear and simple to use with a 6.5 inch color LCD Instrument panel. This model comes with an optional B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, 10-Speakers and subwoofer.
Best in class comfort means plenty of room for not only your gear but your friends too. The Badlands is a five seater SUV that includes extra storage under the back row for next-level gear room. Ford included handy cargo tie-down carabiner hooks and loops for easy access and quick grabs while heading out for the day.
Exterior and Performance
From rubber cargo flooring to two extra G.O.A.T. mode options the 2021 Bronco Badlands has maximum outdoor capability.
There is a lot of work that went into making this model ideal for off road adventure campers:
- 245 horsepower, 275lbs of torque, and a 2.0L turbo EcoBoost
- Advanced 4×4 for icy roads or sticky rocks
- Twin Clutch Rear Drive
- The ‘rock crawl’ and ‘Mud/Ruts’ G.O.A.T.
- 180-degree camera and Trail Control
Twin Clutch Rear Drive allows one of the back wheels to propel your car forward even when the other three have zero traction. Two extra G.O.A.T. options make all the difference when faced with a rocky road on a mountain side. The 180-degree camera and Trail Control works a lot like cruise control. This way your Bronco Sport will adjust and drive consistently so you can pay attention to where the next rock or rut is and how to avoid it… or take it head on.
The exterior brandishes metal brass and off road tires with the option for 17-inch carbonized gray-painted wheels or low gloss aluminum the Ford appears to at least have the hardware to be adventurous.
The interior and exterior of the 2021 Bronco Sport has all of the necessary equipment for true outdoor lovers.
